K-POP FEVER Set to Take Over Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on 26 September

Abu Dhabi, UAE – 8 September 2026: Abu Dhabi is preparing for a major celebration of Korean pop culture as K-POP FEVER heads to Etihad Arena, Yas Island, on 26 September 2026, promising an evening of music, dance and large-scale live entertainment.

With less than three weeks until the show, K-POP FEVER is set to bring together a cast of 12 singers and dancers for a high-energy production inspired by the global rise of K-pop.

The show will feature fan-favourite music associated with KPop Demon Hunters, BTS, BLACKPINK, KATSEYE and more, combining live vocals with tightly choreographed dance routines, large-scale visuals and arena-style staging.

Designed for both dedicated K-pop followers and audiences discovering the genre for the first time, the production aims to capture the energy and visual spectacle that have helped Korean pop music develop into a worldwide cultural phenomenon.

International Cast Brings West End and Arena Experience

A key part of the production is its international cast, featuring performers from the UK, Japan, Hong Kong and China, with collective experience spanning West End theatre, international tours, major arenas, television and music productions.

Among the performers is JoJo Meredith, whose West End credits include Wicked, Your Lie in April and Death Note. Meredith has also performed with Wicked at the 2026 Olivier Awards.

She will be joined by Charlotte Ross-Gower, whose stage credits include Billy Elliot, Matilda the Musical and Annie the Musical.

Neve Ellen adds further live-performance experience to the line-up, having appeared with the Vengaboys at The O2 Arena and worked as a backing dancer for Grammy-winning South African artist Tyla.

The cast also includes Benjamin Figueira, a Platinum Academy-trained performer and choreographer. Figueira helped the academy secure second place at World of Dance and has worked alongside leading creatives including Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy MBE. His credits also include an appearance in an official music video connected to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

One of the show's main vocalists, Steve Hanzheng Wu, brings screen experience including SNL UK and Break Clause, while Shania Montevalde previously toured the UK and Ireland with Miss Saigon.

Together, the performers will combine vocals, choreography and stage experience in a production built around the fast-paced performance style that has become synonymous with contemporary K-pop.

K-pop's Global Popularity Comes to Abu Dhabi

K-POP FEVER arrives in the UAE as Korean entertainment continues to attract audiences far beyond its home market.

K-pop's international growth has been driven not only by music but also by highly choreographed performances, fashion, digital fandoms and the broader influence of Korean popular culture. Groups such as BTS and BLACKPINK have become globally recognised acts, while newer performers and entertainment properties continue to introduce the genre to younger audiences around the world.

The UAE has emerged as an increasingly important destination for international entertainment, with Abu Dhabi regularly hosting major concerts, sporting events and cultural productions.

Against that backdrop, K-POP FEVER is positioning itself as an accessible arena experience for families, younger audiences and established K-pop fans alike.

The production is being staged by People Entertainment Group and is designed specifically to bring the scale and energy of K-pop performance to the Etihad Arena stage.

The event is presented by MAC Global, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral.
