DUBAI, UAE, October 14, 2026: Entrepreneur Ankita Jain Bhatia was crowned Mrs UAE World 2026 by Dr Aditi Govitrikar at a ceremony held in Dubai on October 10. Bhatia will now prepare to represent the UAE at the international Mrs World 2027 pageant in the United States, with Dr Govitrikar, a former Mrs World, psychologist and coach, serving as her mentor.
As the National Director of Mrs UAE World for the second consecutive year, Dr Govitrikar brings her experience in international pageantry and psychology to a platform that aims to celebrate not only beauty but also confidence, character and individuality. Her approach focuses on helping participants recognise their strengths, develop their own voices and use the opportunities associated with the title to make a meaningful contribution.
In the months leading up to the international competition, Dr Govitrikar will mentor Bhatia in communication, stage presence, personal branding, media interactions, leadership and emotional resilience.
“Pageantry can be a transformative experience when it helps a woman recognise her strengths and gives her a platform to express what matters to her. For me, beauty with purpose goes beyond appearances. It is about a woman’s character, experiences, ambitions and ability to connect with others,” said Dr Govitrikar, National Director of Mrs UAE World.
“Ankita brings an entrepreneurial spirit, individuality and a willingness to explore new possibilities. I look forward to helping her build on these strengths as she prepares for Mrs World. My role is not to shape her into a predetermined idea of a titleholder, but to help her find her own voice, communicate with confidence and approach this responsibility authentically. The crown may open the door, but what she chooses to do with the opportunity will define her contribution,” she added.
For Bhatia, the title marks a new chapter alongside her entrepreneurial career. The platform offers an opportunity to connect with women from diverse backgrounds, exchange experiences and engage with audiences beyond her professional sphere. As she begins her tenure, she hopes to bring her own perspective to the role and encourage women to continue pursuing their ambitions through different stages of life.
“Being crowned Mrs UAE World 2026 fills me with immense gratitude and pride, as well as a strong sense of responsibility. Entrepreneurship has taught me to keep learning, embrace challenges and remain open to possibilities beyond what is familiar. I see this new chapter in much the same way,” said Bhatia.
“As I prepare for Mrs World, I look forward to discovering new strengths and learning from Dr Govitrikar and the women I meet along the way. I also hope to share a message that is personal to me: our ambitions can evolve as our lives change, and there is always room to begin something new. If my journey encourages other women to trust their individuality, take chances on themselves and continue pursuing what matters to them, it will make this experience even more meaningful,” she added.
During her tenure as Mrs UAE World 2026, Bhatia plans to identify causes that align with her values and develop a distinct public voice around them. Her preparation will combine the demands of international pageantry with opportunities to engage with wider audiences, build meaningful connections and raise awareness of issues that matter to her.
For Dr Govitrikar, this broader contribution is central to the vision behind Mrs UAE World. She believes the title should provide a platform for women to express their individuality, pursue their goals and make a difference beyond the pageant itself.
“I have always believed that a crown should amplify a woman’s purpose, not define her worth. I want Mrs UAE World to celebrate women in all their individuality and recognise what becomes possible when they have the confidence and support to step forward. Ankita’s crowning marks the beginning of her tenure, and I look forward to seeing how she brings her experiences, values and ambitions to the role,” Dr Govitrikar said.
With preparations for Mrs World 2027 set to begin, Bhatia will draw on her entrepreneurial experience and Dr Govitrikar’s mentorship as she prepares to represent the UAE on the international stage. Her journey will also provide an opportunity to share her personal outlook on ambition, individuality and the possibilities that come with embracing new challenges.
